PMI and New Hampshire Chapter Log-on and Email Communications Update

Posted by [email protected] on 05/19/2024 9:43 am

The PMI New Hampshire Chapter website and email are integrated with PMI. We use their single sign on for our website and the primary email in your PMI profile for email communications. Email is the main communication method that PMI and the New Hampshire Chapter use to contact members.

Board elections for the Chapter will be held next month. It is critical that the email in your PMI profile is correct so you can receive the ballot link from PMI and cast your vote.

If you are not receiving emails from either PMI or the New Hampshire Chapter, here is what to check:

1.     Check your spam/junk folders on your email client. If you find the emails in there, make sure to mark both PMI.org and PMI-NH.org as “safe sender,” “trusted contact” or add to your providers “whitelist” for allowed email.

We frequently see issues with Comcast.net emails, where emails normally go through and then randomly, are treated as spam. This link will take you to the article from Comcast on how to check your online spam folder for emails and marking them as safe.

2.     If you have been using your work email for PMI and have recently changed jobs, make sure to update your email on PMI. If your old employer deleted your email address, we may get invalid email response, and in those cases, we will reach out to you via a secondary email if available, telephone, or via Linked In to let you know to update your email.

3.     Check your email in your PMI profile to make sure you do not have a typo in your address.

You may have noticed the logo screen for PMI has changed. They are now allowing people to log in with LinkedIn, Google, or Facebook. This currently only works for new members. If you try one of these methods, it will log you in but will immediately ask if you are an existing member and switch you to the regular log in screen to enter your PMI username and password.

Since this change, you may see a screen that says “Success” and then you get an error screen such as the one below:

It did take your log in, either click on Log In at the upper right or the myPMI link at the bottom of the page and your Dashboard will appear and you will be signed in.
