OPEN VOLUNTEER (Board) Positions
VP of Membership
Addresses chapter membership needs, such as recruiting, retention, and value delivery. Oversees the delivery of chapter membership benefits, directs career development, education and customer service activities. The ideal candidate for this role is a strong leader, great speaker/presenter, and experienced strategic planner. See the full VP Membership position for more details on this role. [Serves for 2 years beginning July 2020. Estimated volunteer hours: 30-40 per month]
VP of Finance
Manages the chapter finances, maintains financial records for the chapter, and provides financial reports. Leads the chapter budgeting process and reviews chapter contracts and agreements from a financial perspective. A candidate with financial management and planning experience and familiarity with accounting principles would be a great fit for this role. See full description of VP Finance. VP of Marketing/Community Relations
Develops and oversees the Chapter Marketing and Outreach plan, leads Community Engagement initiatives and builds strong relationships with our sponsors. If you have an understanding of marketing strategy and tactics as well an interest in fostering relationships with our local businesses and academic institutions, this may be the right volunteer opportunity for you. Recording Secretary
The PMI NH Chapter is looking for a well-organized, great communicator to fulfill the role of Recording Secretary on the Board of Directors. As the point of contact for chapter communications, you will maintain chapter records, direct the communication process with all chapter members, and oversee the procurement of printed materials. The successful candidate for this role would be a good listener and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Also see the full description of the Recording Secretary role.
