Leading with Gratitude: Solutions to Boost Innovation

Category of the PMI talent triangle: Leadership

We will share solutions to boost innovation based on a foundation of gratitude. With gratitude as a foundation, one can experience benefits such as healthier and goal-oriented leaders, motivated teams, and teams that can handle difficult and complex situations while learning and changing as needed. Some of the most successful CEOs create a culture of gratitude. This session will include many practical tools and tips emphasizing innovation.

You will explore the benefits and learn how to shift quickly to gratitude when facing a difficult situation. This presentation is for those seeking to improve their leadership skills and obtain better outcomes in their personal and professional lives.

Learn why being capable and competent sadly isn’t enough for managers. When you strengthen your gratitude muscle, it builds confidence in an authentic way. When people are confident, they take on more risks and handle unknowns and old challenges better. In this interactive workshop, you will take an assessment, learn about the tools needed to strengthen your gratitude muscle, and how to coach others. Complexity and challenges and gratitude can all exist at the same time. This workshop is loaded with specific tips, stories, and immediate actionable ideas.

  • Learn your authentic leadership brand and how to use it
  • Start or upgrade a gratitude practice and have a plan
  • Learn and practice the three-step shift to gratitude
  • Learn the GLAD tool for coaching others and teams

At the end of this presentation participants will be able to:

  • Better  handle change, uncertainties, and unknowns
  • Handle difficult, complex people and situations better
  • Become calmer, better attitude, and less stress
  • Be more engaged and stronger relationships
  • See better results, more innovative (not same old)
  • Identify things that appeared stuck suddenly open up to new possibilities
  • Be more strategic and future oriented
  • Take more risks
  • Become more confident and authentic leadership style Results shared by participants:

  • Be more innovating to uncover a new insight and action
  • Learn how to engage the curmudgeon on the team
  • Find how to bring their quirky authentic self to the workplace
